Performed outdoors at Lincoln Park, Touhy Park, Gross Park, and Chicago Women’s Park and Gardens

Midsommer Flight will mark its 8th year as an Arts Partner in Chicago’s parks with The Tempest. The company will bring the play’s mysterious island alive with otherworldly production elements that mix well with the outdoor environments. One of Shakespeare’s best known plays, The Tempest explores youth and age, finding fulfillment, and the circle of life and death.

All performances are FREE and open to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Bring your own chairs and blankets. Live music begins a half hour prior to performance times. Come early with a picnic to stake out your seats and enjoy this free programming!

Midsommer Flight is a proud Arts Partner with the Chicago Park District and a participant in the Mayor’s Night Out in the Parks.
