A holiday tradition continues!
Midsommer Flight’s returning fare for the holidays is perhaps the most delightful Shakespeare I’ve been privy to, made only more magical by the panoramic walk up through the Lincoln Park Zoo lights and the oversized winter decorations hanging above the oversized fauna under the Conservatory’s oversized glass domes. –PerformInk
“…the festive mood sets a playful tone that continues throughout this highly enjoyable and ambitious production.” –Chicagoland Musical Theatre
“Putting a ready cast of 14 through paces as fresh as youth can make them, Dylan S. Roberts keeps fluid and supple Shakespeare’s self-consciously silly heartbreak. –Stage and Cinema

About the Show
Twelfth Night takes the audience to Illyria, where a shipwrecked Viola disguises herself as a boy to work for the Duke Orsino. She promptly falls in love with him, who in turn loves the fair lady Olivia. Misunderstandings and misplaced love abound in this delightful comedy.
The title of the play refers to the “twelfth night of Christmas,” and some historians believe the play was originally written and performed for the holiday. Come celebrate the holiday season with Midsommer Flight with this unique, family-friendly, “indoor Shakespeare in the Park” experience inside the iconic Lincoln Park Conservatory.
Midsommer Flight is a proud Arts Partner with the Chicago Park District. Twelfth Night is presented as part of the City of Chicago’s Night Out in the Parks initiative.
