Enter the Conservatory through the main doors on the south side of the building. Once inside, Midsommer Flight staff will direct you where to go.

Due to heavy traffic and limited parking in the area at this time of year, we strongly recommend that you take public transportation or hire a cab.

Public Transportation

Bus routes:

22, 36 (from Clark & Belden, walk several blocks east, approximately 0.3 mile)

Parking

Traffic and street parking are extremely difficult in this neighborhood, especially at this time of year with added traffic for the Lincoln Park Zoo’s wonderful winter ZooLights display. Some folks have reported searching for an hour or even two hours without ever finding a parking space. We strongly urge you to leave the car at home!

NOTE: We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals but we cannot guarantee you will be able to join the performance if you arrive late. If you are not there at curtain time, your spot may be given to someone from the waiting list.

If you must drive, leave plenty of extra time to find street parking, or, you can try to use one of the pay lots in the area. There is a $28 lot just north of the Conservatory with an entrance on Stockton, or the nearby Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot with an entrance on Fullerton. Other smaller lots are also nearby. However, many of the pay lots in the area fill up early in the evening and may not be available. If you must drive, we recommend using a service like SpotHero to reserve a parking space in advance.
